About Warren

Hi there, I’m Warren. Qualified Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor & Life Coach.

Since becoming a personal trainer in 2012, I’ve realised my passion to be about helping others progress their personal development journeys. As a former South African national gymnast, I’ve learnt that mental preparation, motivation and discipline create the life you want. And that to get all of those things right, you'll need to enjoy yourself along the way.

Whether you're just starting out or looking for a new challenge, your well-being comes down to more than just showing up at the gym. It all starts with your mind-body-soul connection.

My training is practical, scientific and dynamic; drawing from a mixed background in Capoeira, Pilates, yoga, break dancing, acrobatics and gymnastics. With my tailored personal nutrition and fitness plans, you’ll know what mind-blowing results feel and look like.

Pilates

You’re riding the underground. As it rattles on, everyone jiggles around from time to time, losing their balance a bit. But not you. You stand like a pro because your core muscles have been made into steel by Pilates.

But seriously, the core is key. The stronger they are, the better your posture becomes; the lower your chances of injury become and the more stability you have in day-to-day movements.

Pilates works deeply, using your own body weight. That, combined with a focus on breath and concentration, cultivates a vital foundation from the inside-out.

Functional Training

I aim to use functional training techniques for prehab (prevention of injuries or body dysfunctions) and rehabilitation to restore strength, mobility and body balance empowering elderly, disabled and special needs clients.


Functional training is a rehabilitation approach that helps clients with special needs regain or improve their ability to perform everyday activities. I focus on exercises that mimic real-life movements, such as reaching, bending, walking, and stair climbing. This personalised approach can significantly enhance their independence and quality of life.

Functional training programs are tailored to each client's specific needs and abilities. I will assess the client's condition, goals, and limitations to create a safe and effective program.


Functional training is a valuable rehabilitation tool for elderly and disabled clients. It empowers them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life by focusing on real-life movements and activities. Stretching

I use a mixture of gentle and dynamic stretching to achieve the fullest range movements throughout the body, focusing on problem areas to improve mobility and flexibility.

Using a mix of yin yoga and assisted stretching inspired techniques designed to enhance mobility and flexibility for older adults, individuals with disabilities or other special needs.

Yin yoga emphasizes holding passive stretches for extended durations to target the deeper connective tissues of the body. These poses are gentle and promote relaxation, making them suitable for those with limitations.

Assisted Stretching for Rehabilitation

Assisted stretching involves using props or another person to safely increase a stretch's range of motion. This technique can be helpful for those who have difficulty stretching independently.

Postural Analysis

Postural analysis is one of the serves that I offer, this is assessment of a person's body alignment and posture. It involves a detailed examination of how the body stands, sits, and moves. This analysis can reveal potential imbalances, misalignments, and areas of weakness that may contribute to pain, discomfort, or reduced performance.

Why is Postural Analysis Important?

 * Pain and Discomfort: Poor posture can lead to a variety of aches and pains, including headaches, neck pain, back pain, and joint discomfort.

 * Reduced Performance: Misalignment can negatively impact athletic performance, as it can limit flexibility, strength, and coordination.

 * Injury Prevention: Understanding postural imbalances can help identify potential areas of weakness that may increase the risk of injury.

Prehab / Rehab

Working at multiple sites within the Croydon area one being physio clinic with a Pilates studio and the other a gym.


In the clinic I have the opportunity to work with a variety of different disabilities and ailments quite often with more senior clients.


In the gym I teach 1on1 and group fitness classes to mostly more able-bodied clients.


As much I find it deeply meaningful and enjoy helping more fragile clients with their issues, I feel a calling to send the message out to younger more able-bodied client to avoid and prevent these problems before they show up, this is where I would like to offer my service and extensive knowledge to help prevent any health issues and future proof your body because as we know without your health…what is left?
